FOR KING, COUNTRY, AND CONSTITUENTS:
George Harold Baker and the 5th CMR
In May of 2016, in honour of the 100 year anniversary of the death of Lt-Col George Harold “Harry” Baker, M.P. for Brome County and commanding officer of the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles, the BCHS created this special online exhibit: For King, Country, and Constituents: George Harold Baker and the 5th CMR.
We are very grateful for the generous support of the MRC (Pact Brome-Missisquoi), the Knowlton Lions Club, and the individual donors whose financial assistance enabled us to complete this important project.
